Auditing aims to form an opinion on the financial statements and that they represent a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the business. We evaluate the overall presentation, structure and content of the financial statements, including the disclosures, and whether the financial statements represent the underlying transactions and events in a manner that achieves fair presentation

 

Sometimes the governing body of an entity may also decide to get its accounts audited and in other cases, the scope and objective of an audit is laid down by statute. While performing an audit, we are required to comply with the ethical requirement of independence
